CR Battery User Guide

CR batteries are lithium coin cells widely used in electronic devices such as calculators, watches, remote controls, medical instruments, and IoT devices. To ensure safe operation and optimal performance, please follow the guidelines below.

1. Installation

  • Confirm that the battery model matches the device requirements.

  • Insert the battery with the correct polarity (+ / –) as indicated in the device.

  • Ensure the battery compartment is clean and dry before installation.

  • Do not mix new and used batteries in the same device.

2. Usage Recommendations

  • Use CR batteries only within the specified temperature range, typically from –20°C to +60°C.

  • Avoid short-circuiting the battery terminals.

  • Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, direct sunlight, or open flames.

  • Remove the battery from the device if it will not be used for an extended period.

3. Storage Guidelines

  • Store batteries in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment.

  • Recommended storage temperature: 0°C to 25°C.

  • Keep batteries in their original packaging until use.

  • Avoid stacking batteries loosely to prevent short circuits.

4. Safety Precautions

  • Do not recharge CR batteries, as they are non-rechargeable.

  • Do not crush, puncture, disassemble, or modify the battery.

  • Keep batteries away from children and pets to prevent swallowing.

  • If leakage, swelling, or abnormal heat is detected, stop using the battery immediately.

5. Disposal

  • Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local environmental regulations.

  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire or household waste.

  • Recycle batteries through authorized recycling facilities whenever possible.

6. Handling Emergencies

  • If a battery leaks and contacts skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention.

  • In case of overheating or fire, use a Class D fire extinguisher or sand—never use water.
