In the previous article, we learned about the fundamental advantages of cylindrical 3.7V batteries. However, not all batteries are created equal. Under the same form and voltage, it is the hidden material science, manufacturing process, and safety technology that determine the vastly different performance of batteries. Today, we will delve into the background and reveal how we exceed industry standards to create safer and more durable high-quality cylindrical batteries.

1. Excellence in Core: Cutting edge Materials and Precision Manufacturing

Advanced electrode materials: We use high-purity, low impurity ternary (NMC) or lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) positive electrode materials, combined with surface modified negative electrode materials, which not only improve energy density, but also significantly enhance the stability and cycling performance of the battery cell.

Uniform coating and winding process: The coating thickness error of the polarizer is controlled at the micrometer level to ensure uniform current distribution. The precise winding technology avoids internal stress concentration and micro short circuit risks, ensuring the consistency of the battery cells from the source.

2. Secure Fortress: Multiple Protection Mechanisms

Safety is our uncompromising bottom line. We have built a comprehensive protection system from the inside out:

Internal safety valve: Each battery cell is equipped with a precision safety valve. In extreme abnormal situations (such as a sudden increase in pressure), it can quickly act, release internal pressure, and prevent dangerous explosions from occurring.

PTC protection component: The positive temperature coefficient resistor can sharply increase its resistance value when the current is too high or the temperature is too high, effectively limiting the current, playing a "fuse" protection role, and may automatically recover after troubleshooting.

CID (Current Interruption Device): As an important safety barrier, CID will permanently disconnect the circuit when the internal pressure reaches a specific threshold, fundamentally preventing the danger from continuing to develop.

Every batch of batteries leaving the factory must undergo a series of brutal 'graduation exams':

Charge and discharge performance testing: Accurately measure capacity, internal resistance, and self discharge rate to ensure that each battery meets the nominal parameters.

Environmental adaptability testing: Testing the working status and reliability of batteries in extreme environments such as high and low temperatures, high and low voltages.

Security abuse testing: including extreme destructive tests such as overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, needle puncture, and compression. Only products that pass these rigorous tests are qualified to be delivered to customers.
